On 8th December youths leaders from Rabai Subcounty attended a forum on countering violent extremism which was organised by KambeRibe LYF in conjunction with HAKI Africa In this forum which was held at Kambe Polythenic, more than 50 youths leader's from active registered youths groups and CBOs benefited from anti radicalization and counter - extremism programme which was facilitated by HAKI Africa officials.
We also managed to facilitate responsible leadership on transparency and good governance where we examines the concept of transparency and good governance and how they lack in both the public and private sectors can lead to devastating consequences for people and institutions. We also managed to discuss ways in which government, business and individuals can create systems and practices to reduce and eliminate corruption which will lead to increase more resources in youths programs hence counter extremism.
Moreover at the forum youth's leaders discussed challenge's they are facing in their community, finding possible solutions in how they can be solved and also come up with ways in how they can be infused in development agendas.
